- Woodlands School (Miss White's) & Oldham House Hydro
The hydro on Wellington Street, that had been run for many years by the Davis family, was bought by two sisters after WW2 and turned into a private school, which closed in 1965. Colin Goodwyn has supplied a lovely postcard, postmarked 1912, and a history of the school. There's a little about the Davis family, too
